Make your meal a little sweeter with this excellent peach glaze.
In a bowl, whisk together the peach preserves, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar honey, garlic and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).
Place the chicken thighs in a gallon size plastic bag and pour 1/2 cup of the mixture over the chicken. Place in the refrigerator and allow to marinate for at least one hour.
Pour the remaining mixture in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Once at a boil, reduce to simmer for 7-9 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to a glaze.
Place chicken thighs skin side up on a lined baking sheet. Bake at 400° for 40-45 minutes. Brush the glaze over the chicken several times while it is baking.
- 1 cup Hip Syrups Peach Flavored Syrup
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp garlic paste or fresh mined garlic
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, if desired.
- 6 chicken thighs (about 2 lbs)
