Blonde Brownies

A Blonde Brownie (Blondie) is similar to a Brownie except that is has a brown sugar base and not cocoa. This gives in more of a butterscotch flavor instead of chocolate.

To make this delicious treat:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease your brownie pan
  • Combine flour, baking powder, and salt
  • Beat sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl until creamy
  • Beat in eggs and Real Spices Pure Vanilla Extract
  • Mix in flour mixture
  • Fold in chocolate chips
  • Bake 20-25 minutes until top in golden brown


  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3/4 cups packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Real Spices Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
