A flavorful bread with a citrus glaze.
Combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Combine this dry mixture with the butter/sugar mixer while alternating the addition of the milk. Beat well after each addition.
Fold in blueberries and lemon zest.
Transfer to a greased 8x4 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the loaf comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
Combine glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm bread.
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp Real Spices Lemon Flavoring
- 1/2 tsp Real Spices Blueberry Flavoring
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup 2% milk
- 1 cup fresh blueberries sprinkled with 2 tsp of all purpose flour
- 2 tbsp grated lemon zest
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
